Fitness Friday’s The Results: 10 pounds in 10 days

Friday, December 16, made the 10th day for my 10 pound challenge.  During these past 10 days I have been eating at least 5 healthy light meals throughout the day along with 30 plus minutes of exercise.  My exercises mainly consisted of doing workout videos that included dancing, martial arts, or some other form of fat burning cardio routine.  Over the course of this week and a half, I have learned self-discipline and I am proud to say that……………………………………………….

Drum rolls please……………………………………………………..

I am down 4 pounds, I didn’t make my goal but I am only 6 pounds shy of been 10 pounds lighter.  I lost 1/2 inch off my mid section and thighs, and 1/4 of an inch off my hips.

I am so proud of me.

Here’s to the next 6 pounds!!!!!!


Fitness Friday’s: Day 4,10 pounds in 10 days

Ok, everyone, so now its day four of my “10 pounds in 10 days.”  So far, this journey has not been too hard on me.  I have made better eating choices by being careful about the things I put into my body.  We all must realize, our body is our temple and treat is as such.  I know I am not going to continue to destroy my temple that God has given me.  I am going to honor my temple by nurturing with good nutritious foods, keep it active through exercise and fun family games, and keeping God as my spiritual counselor.



Fitness Friday’s: 10 pounds in 10 days….

Ok!!! Many of us are either overweight, obese or morbidly obese.  Well, I am overweight, overweight by at least 40lbs.  I know when my weight gain started when I worked in fast food and eating fast food just about everyday and even on my off days.  I am sick and tired of looking at myself in the mirror and not liking who I see.  Being overweight doesn’t look good nor is it healthy.  I don’t think that anyone wants to be fat.  Who would???? Or why would you???  Many people have learned to except the fat person they are simply because you should love you and I don’t think they believe that they can change what they look like. 

Well….I know I can change what I look like on the outside and I will change it.  SO, starting, tomorrow, December 6, 2011 I am putting myself on my own, “10 pounds in 10 days” challenge to push myself to a weight loss jump start.  Now I bet you want to know, what the heck is she going to do to lose 10lbs in 10 days.  Well, honestly folks, I don’t know.  But when 10 days is up and my 10lbs are shed, I will give you the EXCLUSIVE 411 on how I did it.




 I know you were thinking it, but…..ooooh no, those are not my legs. LOL
